Boxing Day Tractor Run 2011

The Boxing Day Tractor Run visited local villages and Little Lakes to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Support Group Kidderminster.
The event raised a fantastic £707.00 with Little Lakes donation of £100.00.
The money raised will enable the group to continue with their program of PSA testing in an effort to diagnose prostate cancer early when it is more easily treatable.

Kidderminster Hospital will be arranging a PSA testing on 16th April 2012 in Kidderminster Town Hall at 7:00pm. Anyone over the age of 50 who have not received the blood test from their GP are welcome to attend.

Swimming Pool Closing Date

Make the post of the swimming pool before the summer time comes to an end.
The pool closes Sunday 11th September - Remember, even though the weather is not at it's greatest the pool is lovely and warm and well worth a visit!

Little Lakes would like to congratulate the rambling club for raising a fabulous £529.97 for the Midlands Air Ambulance charity at the start of August.

The charity supports the Air Ambulance service across the Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Stafforshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire and the Welsh border region.

The charity relies entirely on voluntary support and receives no state aid or National Lottery funding and are grateful for any contribution.

Well done!

Little Lakes Funday

The Funday was held on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May.
Keeping with tradition the weather thought it would be fun to rain all day..! Not that it stopped us or put us off having a fun family day out!!


The funday was supporting the Adoption UK 40th Anniversary Appeal and the Air Ambulance.

We manged to raise £825 and still counting for the Air Ambulance and £76.40 for the Adoption UK 40th Anniversary Appeal.

We would like to thank everyone who helped on the day and for people who donated prizes towards the tombola and donated their their books for the book stall.

The swimming pool will be open Saturday 28th May and will close Sunday 11th September

Opening times: 12 noon till 6pm

Open Monday to Sunday weather permitting

Stourport Library is coming to Little Lakes!!

A new facility is joining us here at Little Lakes! Do you enjoy reading? Would you like the benefit of having a library on your doorstep? Stourport Library will be visiting us throughout 2011.
